If you are looking for a review of Mud King Tires, you are In the right place. Whenever you feel
like going off-roading, you might want to consider having a set of tires that can handle the extreme surfaces
in the wild. If you choose Mud King Tires, you are halfway there!
BFGoodrich Mud King XT Radial Tires
This set of tires has been
created especially for light trucks. They have an open and aggressive tread pattern, which renders them excellent
on extreme offroad surfaces.
Mud King Tires feature a cord
body made from polyester, and also two steel belts. The manufacturer claims that their traction off the road and on
the highway is magnificent. These tires are also ready for mounting
steel pins for snow riding. They are also promoted as very
durable.
And here are some things I
have to say about those tires – the price is really great, you get much more than you are paying for. The off-road
capabilities are as good as the manufacturer claims, although they are not so perfect for the road – the noise is
noticeable.
Mud King tires can handle the
steep climbing very well. They are the real mud monsters – I never had to stop and dig myself out of the mud. They
are also great for snowy terrains, and, surprise, they handle deep sand very well – I managed to ride straight
through the dunes without getting stuck.
They are also very durable – I averaged 40 thousand miles on a
set.
BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2
This is a successor of Mud
King tires, as they are no longer produced by BFGoodrich. The
Mud-Terrains have been designed to handle the trail, as well as some harder climbing obstacles. They are also great tires for ruggy terrain, such as farms and construction
sites.
Personally, I haven’t tried
them, but from my friends’ reviews I know that they have a great traction and are extremely durable. They work
great in deep mud, as well as rock and snow. Their self-cleaning abilities are top notch. If you want to hit the
rocks, you should definitely air them down a little bit for great traction and handling. And as far as it goes for the highway, they are really quiet! They really make a
great seguace to Mud King Tires.
